Although it doesn’t have quite the same magic as previous generations, the 2026 BMW 3-series reminds us of the good ol’ days while still keeping up with the times. Interior fit and finish is excellent, as is the 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The standard-features list could be longer, but we’re willing to overlook that, given how great this car drives.
The seventh-gen 3er moves with grace and precision regardless of its environment, and either engine—the 330i’s 255-hp turbo four or the M340i’s 386-hp turbo six—provides effortless power on a modest diet of fuel.
